Historic signing of a Memorandum of understanding with the Friends of Hemmingfield Colliery
Now in community ownership, Hemingfield Colliery, today marks a very exciting new stage in its history - the announcement of plans for a new station halt for the colliery, to be created in partnership with Elsecar Heritage Railway.
As well as first joint volunteers weekend with the Junior Soldiers from the Army Foundation College Harrogate with thanks to AES.
