HOW TO FIND US

By Car:

Junction 36 off the M1, then follow the brown signs for the Elsecar Heritage Centre. Taking the A6135 for 2 miles. Turn left into Broad Carr Lane for 3/4 mile, then right onto Armroyd Lane and right onto Fitzwilliam Street in Elsecar. Turn right onto Wentworth Road and free visitor parking is on the left. The main entrance to the site is on the corner of Hill Street and Wath Road.

By Train:

Direct services from Sheffield, Leeds, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Meadowhall and Barnsley to Elsecar. After leaving the station turn right and follow the brown signs down the hill to the Elsecar heritage Centre. Approx 5 minutes walk. To plan your journey to us by train please click here.

By Bus:

227 - from Barnsley or Rotherham (Operates hourly Mondays to Sundays)

66 - from Barnsley (Operates up to every 10 minutes Mondays to Fridays. Hourly on Sundays)
